Nanuya Island Resort is proud and indeed blessed to be the first resort in the Yasawa Islands to become fully accredited by the Care Fiji Commitment Board and to satisfy all requirements to ensure a Covid safe environment for our future guests. Fiji’s Care Fiji Commitment Programme has been endorsed by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), the global authority on Travel and Tourism.
So what does that mean for our future Nanuya guests? This means that all businesses who have made the Care Fiji Commitment will immediately get access and approval to use the globally recognized WTTC Safe Travels stamp. The WTTC Safe Travels stamp of approval comes with numerous benefits, which include building confidence amongst international travelers and ensuring safe travel can be enjoyed once restrictions are eased. The internationally recognized stamp has been adopted by many destinations across the world. The stamp serves as an important and powerful signal to travellers, workers and other stakeholders in the sector that there is a consistent global approach to health and safety best practices.
The WTTC ‘Safe Travels’ stamp allows travellers to recognise those destinations and companies adopting health and hygiene protocols that are aligned with WTTC’s Global Safe Travels Protocols – all for the benefit and safety of the traveller.
The Care Fiji Commitment aligned with the ‘Safe Travels’ stamp, gives increased confidence to international travellers and will help ensure a seamless travel experience as border restrictions ease.
The globally recognised stamp has been adopted by many other destinations across the world and serves as an important signal to travellers, workers and other stakeholders that there is a consistent global approach to health and safety best practices.

Nanuya and the Yasawa Islands are safe and waiting to welcome you again or for the very first time. International guests visiting our resort can be assured that all Covid Safe initiatives as required by the Fijian Government are in place and your health and safety is, and will always be, our primary concern.
We have also appointed two ‘Wellness Ambassadors’ – Kitty and Josese – who will be there upon arrival to oversee your check-in and explain or clarify any concerns you may have – they are on site for your security and comfort so use them whenever you seek clarification.
