Fiji is an island nation and so, it is logical to understand that your time at Nanuya Island Resort will be all about the ocean and understanding how it impacts upon the local people and life in general.

Our location adjacent to a magnificent turquoise blue lagoon, ensures a superb and safe playground to enjoy snorkelling, swimming, kayaking, sailing and glass bottomed boat rides. Enjoy a sunset cruise or visit  near deserted islands and beaches to experience some true solitude.

Don’t forget however that you can also choose to simply relax on one of our Sun Lounges, enjoy a cool drink or even enjoy a relaxing spa treatment. Why not, in the cool of evening, lie back and watch the natural light show across the water and surrounding islands, as the sun bids farewell to another Nanuya day.

At Nanuya Island Resort, you make the calls and choose how much or how little you want to do each day. Here, with only 17 rooms,  you become part of our extended Fiji Family and NOT a number!

Water Sports & Day Trip Experiences

 

Life and activity revolves around the water at Nanuya Island Resort AND unlike a lot of the resorts in Fiji, many of these options are provided FREE for In House Guests.

You can enjoy the day relaxing at water’s edge in your own Private Cabana, make use of our complimentary Fins, Goggles and Snorkels for your reef and fish viewing or paddle out over the calm blue water on a View Board and gaze at life underneath the sea. Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards are also included in your Room Rate for those keen to venture a little further afield.

Nanuya Island Resort also offers a range of Value Add Experiences at realistic prices, which include Guided Fishing, Reef Exploring, Sawa-i-lau cave Trip and Swimming with Manta-rays (seasonal). Our complete list of activities is available on request.

 

Cultural Experiences

 

Here at Nanuya Island Resort you can do as much or as little as you like.

Our activities team host free Cultural Activities sessions daily at 10am & 3pm. Some of the activities available are Sarong Tying, Coral Planting, Language Lessons, Cooking Classes and even a Behind the Scenes Guided Tour.

After a busy day of water sport and activity, you are welcome to join in our evening activities, when we offer some form of Group Activity – Kava Ceremony, Crab Racing, Singalong.  Not to be missed is our famous Island Night where the local dance troupe perform their Meke and host the ladies shell market where the local village women sell their crafts.
