Nanuya Island Resort and the fabled Yasawa Islands of Fiji are only accessible by seaplane or boat, and with the Covid 19 pandemic causing major issues with transportation globally – we have also been affected.
Flights are grounded and the regular service has been curtailed meaning it has become extremely difficult for guests to get to our special piece of paradise.
So, we did something about it! We have partnered with Offshore Logistics who are pleased to introduce an addition to the fleet, the ‘Blue Lagoon Nanuya Express’ will be conducting direct transfers to Nanuya Island Resort & charters to other islands in the Yasawas on request.
Commencing December 2020, the Blue Lagoon Nanuya Express will depart Lautoka Wharf for a direct transfer between the Mainland and Nanuya Island Resort – the heart of the Yasawa Islands.
Blue Lagoon Nanuya Express is a safe, comfortable & reliable transfer service that enables guests to experience our pristine region in a timely manner. It is equipped with twin 300 hp motors and has a total capacity of 15 paying guests and two crew. Additionally, a cargo capacity of 400 kgs is available.
Departing from Lautoka and giving permanent residents, ex pats and ‘trapped’ tourists, the chance to get away from the ‘isolation blues’ and spend a few nights in the tranquil peace and charm of the Yasawa Islands.
We will be running a direct (no stops) service to Nanuya Island Resort for our guests and with a transfer time of around 2 hours – is the fastest available.
During these difficult times, you just might find you have the whole island to yourself. Prices will NEVER be this low again and when you combine a transfer, accommodation, and a selection of tour options – there will never be a better time to visit this stunning part of Fiji.
